In the second activity (A2) we will implement the process-based hydrological model SWAT using the current land-use land-cover occupation, overlaid with soil types and slope classes, to estimate water and nutrient contribution in the Almonda basin.

The water flow in the study areas is influenced by the water flowing from the upper part, so model calibration will have to be done for the entire watershed of which the focus area is a fraction.
